WHAT: We will have a time of encouragement, community building, a short testimony, speaker, and breakout groups.

To register: https://forms.gle/QZQm9uVtdDEAfbxL6

WHERE: Zoom.
WHEN: This Sun., Nov. 1 @ 7pm or (optional) Mon. Nov. 2nd at 10am. Register through the link below and you will receive a link and information for the event by Saturday, Oct. 31.

WHY? The enemy wants us to live in isolation, fear, lies, hopelessness. We need to rise up in prayer together! Pray to push the enemy back and advance God's Kingdom (=Jesus reign) in our own lives, our relationships, our families, our churches, our communities, our state, our country, the world. Regardless of the election, virus, civil unrest, and the rest of the craziness and uncertainties in our world, God has not gone into isolation or taking a break. He loves us and just waiting on us. So plan to join us regardless if you pray aloud or not. You are welcome. (FYI- we may have more of these events in the future, as led)

Q & A

Q. So what is a Prayer Battle Event?

A. While this group is a community group, the Prayer Battle Event is a "special time" of women gathering in community and building relationships through encouragement & prayer.

Q. What's on the agenda for the event?

A. Although we wish could meet in person, we will still have a time of fun ice breakers, hear a God-story and from an invited speaker to share. Then we will further break down into prayer groups.

Q. Who is the speaker for this first event?

A. Deanna Porter. Deanna was called into vocational ministry at the age of 15 and has spent over two decades ministering to youth, children, and women. She has a strong passion for evangelism and discipleship. Her enthusiasm, humor, and authenticity engage audiences of all types. She currently serves as the Director of Missions and Connections at North Pointe Church in Lutz, Florida. Most of all, Deanna understands prayer and the importance of prayer.

Q. Is this just for those in a local LIFT Group ministry.

A. NO. This is for women of all ages who would like to take time out to gather on Zoom, build community through prayer and of course, pray. While we can't meet in person just yet, zoom offers us the opportunity to meet some women that some of us may invite that don't live near us, but yet each of us have an opportunity to contribute, to give and receive in prayer, word and even if only just by our presence.

Q. Will there be food served?

A. Of course! LOL! Be sure to make a good cup of hot chocolate, tea, etc. before you log on. If you're fasting, then, no food.

Q. Is this just a one time event?

A. No, I pray not. Please pray about this. As God leads, we will plan. When Covid restrictions lift, definitely in person, as well. Please pray about being part of this to reach out.

If you are here in this community group, consider this a divine appointment. There is a reason. Don't discount it. I encourage you, if you can make it, register for the Women's PM prayer battle event on Sunday, Nov. 1. If you can't make that, then we are offering Monday, Nov. 2nd at 10am. If you can't make that, please still register and you can pray on your own and we will get you the notes and some things we are praying for. We don't want you to be left out! You just need to register.

Q. How do I register?

A. https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSdDWzQgfWIoPR.../viewform

Q. What happens after I register?

A. On Saturday, Oct. 31, you will receive an e-mail or text with the the link to the Zoom event, along with other participant information.

Q. I have never used Zoom and I don't have a clue how to participate.

A. If you have access to internet or mobile, go to www.zoom.com and follow the tutorials. You can also sign up for a free account. Do this at least a day or a few hours before the event. Not, just before.

Q. I am not comfortable praying out loud, so I'm not sure if I should sign up?

A. It's okay if you are not comfortable praying out loud. Our break out leaders will be sensitive to that. You will not be put on the spot. You praying quietly in agreement is just as important.

Q. I have a question that is not listed here. What do I do?

A. Just e-mail / text message 614-966-5298 the question to us and we will answer.
