From Pastor Billy:
We had a great time in the Lord last Sunday morning, January 24th. We learned that Peter had stars in his eyes and Jesus quickly showed him that humility was the only way forward in life. Find out what God is doing and join him in that. The life agenda from Jesus is always better than ours. The call to salvation is a call to discipleship.
There were 68 in attendance in person. Budget receipts to date are $19,428. Budget goal to date is $21,176.
Today is the fifth Sunday of the month. We do not have volunteer teams for KidsFest or for Worship Nursery on this Sunday. We are thankful for those who serve and for how much gets done with our limited attendance during these trying times.
I am posting our new proposed guiding statements. The church mission statement, and vision statement, and logo. Sunday morning I will present our church values. Thanks again to the team that helped design these with feedback from you.
Our Proposed Mission Statement -- "Go in Christ, Grow in Christ"
Elizabeth's Hope Pregnancy Resources is a great ministry started by our church several years ago and is still expanding and growing. This pro life ministry offers the hope of Christ and practical help to women and their families. Last year they had 3370 client visits and virtual sessions. Each client completed an educational lesson and homework for each visit. "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalm 127:3
