Week of February 14

Updated: Feb 15

Hello First Baptist Family, Which comes first, love or forgiveness? That good question was answered in the New Testament story of Jesus's supper being dramatically interrupted by a woman with a bad reputation. You can read how our Lord handled this scenario in Luke 7:36 - 50. We continue our worship series, "The Life and Times of Jesus Christ." Friends, it's all about Jesus. We are still in need of a Sunday School teacher this week for Bed Babies. Also one more team of 3 for the Worship nursery. Reminder that our church is serving at the Community Kitchen next week. Volunteers to serve or bring food can sign up in our foyer. One of the community ministries we support is the Stowe Mission of Central Ohio, located on Parsons Avenue in southern Columbus. One of their services is the Pregnancy Resource Center. Almost 500 clients visited the pregnancy resource center last year. More than 6000 diapers were given away. They offer life affirming, biblical help to all who enter at no charge, thanks to your gifts. God is good!

Reminder: Circleville Community Kitchen is scheduled for Friday, February 19 at the Presbyterian Church.

Sign up sheets are now available in our foyer for helpers and food donations. Only 3-4 people are needed to prepare the food and place it in take out containers. All food donations should be at our church Friday, February 19 by 3:00 pm.

If you would like to help with preparing the food, be at the Presbyterian Church at 4:00 pm on the 19th. For more information, contact Tom Camden at 740-248-4635.

Thank you!
